Responsible for Mix Design and Quality Control of Concrete, Pavement Design and Planning, Management, co-ordination and Site supervision of the Main Access Road in hilly area of Melamchi Valley (18 KM) of Melamchi Water Supply Project.

Site supervision and Quality Control of the Bus Lay ways and Asphalt Concrete works in the Bus Park area at Dhulikhel (Ch. 29+370 – 29+885). The work was sub-lated by the “Contractor” - Sharma and Company.

Quality control of the materials and products used for the Lot C1 (Dam Site), Lot C2 (Tunnel),
Lot C3 (Powerhouse) of the Project, Mix Design, Grouting works, Management of the Laboratory Works, Site Supervision and Preparation of the Reports. All of the Quality Control Works and Tests of Materials were carried out according to relevant ASTM Standards as per the Specification of the Project. Including:

Lot C1 & Lot C3 (Head Works and Powerhouse): Quality Control and Laboratory test of the Aggregate of Crushing Plant and Batching Plant, Concrete, Laboratory test of the samples of different grades of the concrete used for the different structures. Grouting Works in different structures (Spiral Case). Frequent changes in mix design so as to meet the site requirements, conditions and availability of the Material.

Lot C2 (HeadRace Tunnel): Mix Design for the Crown and Invert Lining Concrete. Laboratory test of different specimen carried out at sites. Supervision of the Tunnel Grouting works. Responsible for Tunnel repairing and finishing works. Report preparation.
Finally: Mix Design of Asphalt Concrete for the Permanent Access Road of the Project. Laboratory tests on bitumen, aggregates and fillers.
Site Supervision and Quality Control of the Base Course of the Permanent Access Road.

Alignment and Geological Survey and design of Nareshwor - Dedagaun" (4 km) and "Bhaluswara - Baluwa" (16 km) roads in Gorkha Districts.

Involved in investigation of soil and building material for Auxiliary and Support Staff residential buildings, Guard Houses, Parking Area, Auditorium, Canteen and internal Road Network for package IV, C-1 and C-11 of B. P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur.

All the works carried out in Kharkov State Automobile and Highway Technical University and Kharkov Automobile and Highway Institute, were directly funded by the Ukrainian Government. Our role, being only Highway Institutions in the Region with a well-established Laboratory and qualified personals, was to provide the Quality of the Works, as do the Consultant.

Conduction of the special course on "Ecological aspects of Road building materials" for the student of Road construction faculty

Contribution in development of State Standard on asphalt concrete "Asphalt concrete for Roads and Aerodromes, Technical requirements". Test supervision, preparation of report, analysis of test results, recommendations on use of asphalt concrete for the conditions of Ukraine depending upon temperature and climate of different regions. Tests were carried out according to GOST (State Common Technical Standards) of different designations:

Introduction and implementation of Energy saving technology with the use of Surface Active Additives (SAA) at the construction site of the road in Kirovograd Region, Ukraine. Design of asphalt mixes with SAA decreasing the use of energy during mixing, transporting and compacting, supervision of site, quality control of mixes and pavement after compacting, preparation of report. The work was the part of the research carried out in the Laboratory about the influence of SAA on the asphalt concrete. As a result the mixing and transporting temperature was reduced up to 135-140°C. Better compaction was achieved due to plasticizing action of the SAA.

Re-construction supervision of the urban road "Moskovskyi prospect" (8 km) in Kharkov city area, Ukraine. Design and selection of asphalt concrete type based on polymer modified binder, control of the adhesion of new mix to the old surface of Pavement.

Responsible for the translation from English to Russian, edition and distribution, to the countries of CIS (former USSR), of the reports of various Technical Committees of Permanent International Association of World Road Congresses (PIARC) to the XX' World Road Congress, 3-7 September 1995. The work was funded by PIARC (Permanent International Association of Road Congresses) with the aim to share the state of art and information on Road Industry all over the World.

Responsible for introduction and implementation of new express-methods defining the Penetration and Brittleness Temperature of road bitumens to control the quality of bitumens supplied by Krmenchug Oil Refining Factory to use by Kharkov City Road Department for construction, repair and maintenance of roads within Kharkov City. The work was the parts of research to quick define the Penetration and Brittleness Temperature.

Junior Material Research Engineer/ Post-Doctorate course

Study of rheological properties of bitumens such as: viscosity, surface tension, adhesion, cohesion etc. Study and research of structural type of bitumens, interdependence between technological and rheological properties of bitumens and their influence on asphalt concrete and pavement, research on influence of Surface Active Additives on bitumen and asphalt mixes.

Standard test of different road building materials, and mixes using different types and grades of bitumen. Laboratory and field test on pavement. Analysis of the test results, conclusion and recommendations for road industry.
